A young woman in a black mini skirt is suddenly tackled to the ground by another girl dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt who bolts in out of nowhere and wrestles her friend from behind. The footage is captured by the same CCTV camera at the Banpo Han River Park that has played the central role in uncovering the timeline in the Son Jung Min mystery. Taking place at around 2:15 a.m. on April 25, 2021, the timing is suspiciously similar to the time when Mr. A was packed up and seemingly ready to leave while SJM lay slumped lifeless on the grass.
Was Mr. A communicating with the girl in the black mini skirt? Was she trying to locate Mr. A to help? Did her friend in the blue jeans want to stop the girl in the black mini skirt from getting involved in a mess? What do these two know and why weren’t they questioned by the police?
What we do know is that the two girls were part of a much larger group that included young men who also appeared in their 20s. They did not leave the park because CCTV cameras showed them passing by the same area again at around 4:09 a.m. However, this time, they were joined by a woman in a white down coat who appeared to be a mother in her 40s. They all seemed worried, anxious, and in problem-solving mode. What was a mother doing there? And what was the boy in the white t-shirt saying when he pointed to SJM’s picnic area while he was explaining something to the mother?
This group looks super sus. Who tackles their friend unless they think that person is about to walk into danger? Who calls someone’s mother to join them at 4 a.m. unless it’s an emergency? Something was going on.
It’s just a little extra shady at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. – precisely when the shadiness index went through the roof with SJM and Mr. A.
