Startup Founders in Korea Hoarding Equity?

Mike Kim, a former Silicon Valley tech executive and current Google for Entrepreneurs APAC Partnership Manager, says startup founders in Korea are acting a lot like chaebol owners 3.0. Instead of sharing equity among the employees that build a company, much of the ownership is concentrated with a few at the top.

He also predicts a grim warning: will the $3 billion invested by the Korean government into the startup community create a rich, sustainable ecosystem or leave parched earth after failed slash and burn business decisions?
