SHINee's Latest Album Tops 7 countries' iTunes Charts

SEOUL, Oct. 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korean boy band SHINee's fifth full-length album is receiving great initial responses, its management agency said on Thursday.

S.M. Entertainment said SHINee's "1 of 1," released Wednesday, topped the iTunes album chart in seven countries including Thailand, Indonesia and Chile.

On the iTunes pop chart, it ranked first in nine countries including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Kazakhstan.

The five-member act also swept the local music charts on Thursday.

Globally well-known producers like The Underdogs, the Stereotypes, London Noise and popular composer Kenzie and Mario Diz participated in the production of the album.'
